Had the pleasure of attending a laser light show concert at the Raritan Valley CC Planetarium. The concert was from one of my favorite old time group – ELO.
It actually turned out better than I thought. The laser art was unique to ELO and in most cases unique to each musical number!
This was the second of two shows so no more ELO there this season if you are interested. Check the link above for more information.
Below are some photos taken while waiting for the show to start. They have a nice little museum/display.
So if a cloud is not funny, then it must be, wait for it, cirrus. OK I know that’s bad but I was very impressed the other day how nice these cirrus clouds are – especially the ones in the center and right.
Cirrus clouds are also describes as mare’s tails. They are very high clouds made up of ice crystals. Just though you’d like to know
I spent a little time on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Hoffman Park in Hunterdon County, NJ. I may be taking some formal wedding photos there next month and wanted to see what the place has to offer.
Rest of the photos
At the Warren County Farmer’s Fair last evening. I always enjoy the tractor pull. Don’t know why. I didn’t grow up on a farm or in farming. But I did grow up enjoying fire department drill racing which is somewhat similar.
I didn’t want to lug around my big DSLR at this event. So I brought my trusty S95. It was a little too dark for the above photo. I almost trashed it but I thought it captures the fierce motion that goes on at a tractor pull so I saved it.
To see a few more and a video of my friend’s run go here.
Workers demolished the Pizza Hut that was in front of the Phillipsburg Mall. The restaurant has been closed for months. Lopatcong Township documents indicate a Chick-Fil-A will be building a restaurant there in the months ahead.
