Get Ready For Fall

Don’t forget to put up your storm door

It’s been so warm out until recently that you may not have remembered to do certain cold weather tasks. One of them is putting up your storm door on your doors if you have one. I remembered to do mine last evening. Not only good to do now for the cooler weather, but to also get ready for the trick-or-treater’s on Monday! It’s much nicer having the main front door open with the outside light on so the kids know we’re participating.

Flying South

While out and about the other evening I heard a large flock of birds (geese) flying in very dark twilight after sunset. It took me a while to spot them because it was so dark but there they were. I had to use my Samsung Focus phone camera to get the shot – by the time I found and setup my better camera, they would have been out of range!

Clash Of Seasons

Believe it or not there is still some snow on the ground from Saturday’s storm. In fact there are some folks that still do not have electricity!

I have several big photo projects on the horizon. I’ll be photographing a band festival this evening then a wedding on Saturday.

Signs of Fall

While photographing the Truck Fest the other day this nice Fall display caught my eye.

Split Fall Personality

While taking a walk the other day I enjoyed how the top of this maple started turning while the bottom was still green. I was almost as if someone was painting each brand one by one from the top down.
