Fireworks Photos

What’s your favorite type of fireworks? I break them down as follows: Single (big bang), multiple, palm tree.

All three of these were created at the Phillipsburg Ole Towne Festival 2015.

Other firework photos from that night are available. I’ve photographed fireworks at this festival before but this is from a different view point. Next time I will try a different angle.

So if a cloud is not funny, then it must be, wait for it, cirrus. OK I know that’s bad but I was very impressed the other day how nice these cirrus clouds are – especially the ones in the center and right.

Cirrus clouds are also describes as mare’s tails. They are very high clouds made up of ice crystals. Just though you’d like to know Smile

Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em

At the Warren County Farmer’s Fair last evening. I always enjoy the tractor pull. Don’t know why. I didn’t grow up on a farm or in farming. But I did grow up enjoying fire department drill racing which is somewhat similar.

I didn’t want to lug around my big DSLR at this event. So I brought my trusty S95. It was a little too dark for the above photo. I almost trashed it but I thought it captures the fierce motion that goes on at a tractor pull so I saved it.

To see a few more and a video of my friend’s run go here.

Visit to Metropolitan Museum of Art

Members of Church of the Holy Spirit in Lebanon, NJ travel to NYC for a guided tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Our personal guide was Fr. Ed Murphy. This field trip was the second event in our church’s special event "Renewal of Beauty"

More photos of the museum are available here.
